Dear friends,
Over the last few hours we discovered that our domain stonepages.com (where this forum and our website reside) has been blacklisted. That is causing harm to other users on the same server, but there is no harm to you, or any of our visitors.

The blacklisting has been issued because of a spam complaint - some nasty spammer "spoofed" a fake e-mail account with our domain name on it and used it to send out a flood of unwanted messages to unknown people. Please note that the forum users list and the susbcribers list to our weekly newsletter have not been compromised: they are safe and they won't receive any spam message.

In any case, the situation is quite serious: if no solution can be found, we may need to find an alternative host for the stonepages site. And that - frankly - would be a nightmare for us.

We're trying to remain optimistic and we are confident we will find a way to have our server de-listed. But in case you will find a blank page instead of this forum or our website, you will know that the worst possible scenarios happened to our server.

Please keep your fingers crossed for us

Paola & Diego

Any news on this Diego?
There hasn't been a single spam post since the site was blacklisted.

Sorry for not having posted a reply earlier - the blacklist has been lifted, so now there are no problem, at least in the short term

Speaking of spammers, we noticed a sudden drop in fake/ads/porn posts on the forum. That's nice!

Since the site was blacklisted I haven't seen a single spam posting.
Maybe the spammers have got the message that ALL posts will be vetted before being allowed on this forum.
Some posts must take them a long time to write and yet it only takes us 2 clicks to get rid of it  :P
