I am surprised to see that the three large standing stones (2/3m. high) at Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire are not listed. Known as "The Devils Arrows" and possibly markers for a nearby river crossing.

Hello Dalesman,
You are right: the Devil's Arrows are not listed on the main "Stones of England" section. However, we have visited and photographed this very interesting site back in 1998 on our way to Scotland.
You can find an image within our Ancient Scotland tour web pages.
We will try to include the Devil's Arrows (and other English sites we visited) into our main section as soon as possible.
Ciao!
