Dear friends,
over the last weeks we've been working hard on the new version of this website. And there is still a ton of work to do...
Anyway, we are now almost ready to present our new resource:  MegaLinks , the most complete directory of websites devoted to megalithic and prehistoric sites you can find on the 'net.
Before announcing "officially" this new resource, we would appreciate if you can have a preview look at it and send us your comments, along with any report of bugs or strange web browsers' behaviour.

Please note that on MegaLinks  main page, many of the top "rocky" links don't work yet and we must add many, many other websites to the already wide collection of links.

We hope you will appreciate our improved section (the old "Archaeo Links" have been included in the MegaLinks). Watch this space for more additions to come!

Paola & Diego

PS
We are looking for someone that could help us editing a short press release (Please remember that we are Italians and we often use "weird" English expressions...)

Hi Diego,
I find the page really difficult to read. The grey on a black background is very hard on the eyes.
Any chance of a link to my Panoramic Avebury site?
Best wishes,

Gray on black??? It should be just a plain white background... Maybe we have to check again the HTML code. Can you please tell us your browser type/version and your operating system?

Thanks

Paola & Diego

PS
Of course we will add your site to the collection!

I'm using Netscape 4.7 which shows a black background.
Netscape 7, IE 5.5 and opera shows it ok.
Maybe I should I stop using 4.7 (its just so much faster than7!)
Thanks for the link  :)

Link added. We hope you'll like our review   :)
Soon we will post the SP buttons to download.

And we will fix the "black pages"... And we'll get rid of those b/w images on the home page.

Hello friends,
Over the last week we added 219 new links to our  MegaLinks   section. Does anybody can have a look at it, just to test if everything (but the links on the upper bar) is OK?

Thanks for your help

Diego

Hello Diego,

Megalinks is working very nicely for me in Mozilla 1.2.1 (Netscape 7)

Thanks for the update and nice review. Would you mind changing our link
URL to:
Megalithic Portal
http://www.megalithic.co.uk

Good to see you still maintaining the site when so many others are falling by the wayside.

Interestingly I first got into the active database/Perl/PHP stuff by looking at automating my links using Gossamer Threads and similar scripts. I then discovered bigger content management scripts and the rest is history!

You already have a link here, no.7 in the original list:
http://www.megalithi...=viewlink&cid=4

Let me know if there's anything I can do. I'll post your press release in the News when you're ready to announce it.

I hope the little ones are well.
Cheers,
Andy
