We have never visited personally that site, but from the photos and the description you can find on this webpage (in Italian only) it does look that the two journalists who "discovered" it are way too enthusiastic about its real age and meaning.

There are cup marks on it that looks definitely man-made, but without an in-depth study made by professional archaeologists we believe it's easy to make rash judgements like "this pyramid shaped monolith was made around 13500BC"...
And the "monoliths up to 10m tall" looks definitely erratic boulders shaped by nature.

We are skeptic and we don't believe that site is "the oldest use of the pyramid symbol in the world" - it's higly unlikely that was "formed by Cro-Magnon people with outstanding mathematical/astronomical skills" and the fact that "originated in Central Europe by an unknown culture or civilization" is very controversial (to say the least).

In any case, we would like to get some real proofs about the above claims from a reliable and independent source. :)
