In our library, the best books -by far - devoted to ancient monuments of Wales are the four "Guides to Ancient and Historic Wales" published by CADW and HMSO.
* Dyfed - by Sian Rees (ISBN 0117012203)
* Clwyd an Powys - by Helen Burnham (ISBN 011701575X)
* Gwynedd - by Frances Lynch (ISBN 0117015741)
* Glamorgan and Gwent - by Elisabeth Whittle (ISBN 0117012211)
Two other books with many references to Welsh standing stones are:
* Sacred Stones - by Terry John (ISBN 1859021271)
and
* The Ancient Stones of Wales - by Chris Barber and John Godfrey Williams (ISBN 0951044478)
Hope this helps!
