Hello Macie,

I found something that puzzled me on your website.

"Ancient Indians drew the pictures in question over a hundred years ago."

My understanding of the English language is a bit limited, but the use of the word "ancient" here seems a bit strange to me. Is that really how the word can be used in American English?

Ancient American Indians, should refer to pre- contact Indians, i.e. the arrival of Christopher Columbus in 1492, which is not to say that he was actually the first.
