Hi! I'm researching Stone Circles for a project and I'm looking for sites where I can get more information. Any suggestions?

Hello Lou,
Aubrey Burl's the author  of the best book about stone rows and avenues:

From Carnac to Callanish : The Prehistoric Stone Rows and Avenues of Britain, Ireland and Brittany

Will you please write all your future messages regarding megalithic sites into the "Megalithic forum"?

Thanks!

Dear Amy, dear Lou,
within the Stone Pages website you can find the descriptions (along with photos and some 360-degree panoramic views) of about 32 stone circles. You may find additional info and many other sites here:

Ancient Stones of Scotland
Ancient Scotland tour

We strongly suggest you to have a look at these Aubrey Burl's excellent books about stone circles:

A Guide to the Stone Circles of Britain, Ireland and Brittany
Circles of Stone. The Prehistoric Rings of Britain and Ireland
Great Stone Circles : Fables, Fictions, Facts

Please let me know if you need any other (more specific) info
