Hi,
could anyone tell me how and where to apply to the next year Newgrange Winter Solstice lottery in the hope of gaining a place in the ancient chamber on the shortest day of the year? In The Newgrange Visitor Center in Co. Meath, Ireland? This ear about 24000 people applied but only 50 people can fit inside to witness the phenomenon.

Hi there
Application is via the visitors' centre. I think you actually have to go there to apply.
Another way is to get a job there. I think you get a chance after around 3 years service.
You can go along on the day and stand outside the front, but this is getting busier every year.
