I'm taking a week out to do a tour of wales' stone circles, standing stones, barrows etc and wondered if anyone could recommend anywhere i may have missed.  I have a long long list of places but my top ones so far are:

Druids Circle
Moel Ty Uchaf
Kirnant
Four Stones and surrounding sites
Bedd Arthur and surrounding sites

Any help much appreciated!

Thanks, Jaz

You may want to quizz the locals about the legendary now-submerged city-states of Cantre'r Gwaelod (in Cardigan Bay), and Lyonesse (now on the shallow seafloor, just east of the Isles of Scilly), and in fact, if you run into anyone who has dived to see them, please let me know (through here, or through my website), any pictures or your contact with anyone who would be willing to get pictures of the submerged megaliths would be much appreciated.

Hi Jaz

Have a look at fellow member stonedowser's web site (www.stonedowser.com) - you'll find plenty of inspiration there and lots of lovely photos. He's on holiday in Devon at the moment so may not be able to respond to any queries you may have just at the moment. I've been in touch with him as I too hope to make a trip to Wales in the near future and I found him to be extremely helpful. Good luck with your planning and hope to hear how you get on.

Best wishes,

MacD

Hi Genesis, MacD,

Thanks for the info, the submerged city states will definitely be asked about and I'll check out the stonedowser website too, we're not going until end of the monthy so hopefully he'll back by then.

Genesis - can you please post your website address, I'd love to have a look.  We were in Carnac last year and I believe there's some submerged stones off the coast there too, didn't get to see them though by my girlfriends parents have a house over there so we're planning on going back for another look around.

Thanks again all,

Jaz

Hi Jaz,

My website is http://www.GenesisVeracity.com.

I am involved in the production of a documentary about the submerged megaliths in various parts of the world, so what you may come-up with would be much appreciated.
