Please note that in this section we don't allow any posting of advertisements or jokes. In the past, many "fake" users become subscribers just to post those unwanted messages. In this case, we always erase the thread and ban the user.

Unfortunately, it happens all the time. And we have to delete every unwanted message by hand, delete the user and ban its IPs... A lot of work and there is no 100% secure method to stop them.

Curious......  

Diego, when you delete a users IP address, does that mean that only that person's IP is deleted or do other users having the same IP Company are going to be prohibited from the forums as well.   I’m was just wondering how that works, as I’ve been hearing some news like this from another forum I go too.

We can delete just the single IP of the offending user, but as it is common to use a dial-in connection, Internet access providers assign different IPs to every new connection. So, we may also deny the access to the whole IAP or a broader IP set.

Thnanx Diego.It is very annoying to have bot and real humans who are shallow and join just to post ads and jokes and make small talk.I think u r doing a great job.Keep it up.
