#3398 Neolithic Stone Balls

Posted by Genesis Veracity on 24 January 2006 - 01:06 in Megalithic forum

They were astronomical markers of metonic and precession cycles on ground circles.

#3358 Ley Crossings

Do you think the fact that the base-perimeter-length of the Great Pyramid is half a nautical mile might play into the picture, a bit more precise than sticks and shadows?

My "bronze classic mathematical verbiage" explains how the ancients managed to measure distance and direction, which seems to have missed you.

The purpose of this thread is to discuss my finding about how the ancients were able to measure and thereby map the globe, you are the one who obtusely injected Biblical veracity into the discussion, not I.

This thread is about ancient precession mapping of the earth, if you want to talk about the veracity of the Bible, then why don't you start a new thread?

As I said, you guys just can't stay on the topic which is ancient precession mapping, as embodied in the astronomically-derived dimensions of the Great Pyramid.  You stray so because you have no cogent rebuttal.

By the way, the model for earth history (the Global Flood Model) which I propone, and which is not the subject of this thread, but you brought it up, is corroborated by hundreds of ancient legends from seemingly disparate people groups, the Hebrew account being just one of the many, and the Hebrew account being the one with the most detail.  (It is written like a ship's log, don't you think?)

Nice rebuttal, as effective as the others.  You guys just can't stay on point, I guess it's too hard for you.

You guys are big on low-grade humor, and small on cogent rebuttals, just the way I like it.

#3318 Tartess

Posted by Genesis Veracity on 10 November 2005 - 20:54 in Megalithic forum

Submerged megaliths have been found off the southwestern coast of Spain from Gibraltar to Huelva over the last few years.

Thanks again for the yes, it is quite obvious.

Why has BuckyE not responded to my rebuttal to his specious notion that the Ice Age has been ending for the last 20,000 years?

#3314 Great Pyramid Perimeter Is Half A Nautical Mile

Since you resorted to that nonsense, I'll take it as a yes.  Thanks, you may be a real thinker.

Many of you have been discussing ley lines, so could the methodology of my Great Pyramid and ancient mapping finding explain how the ancients established distances and directions for their ley lines?

Well now Bucky, if sea level has risen in under a hundred years to cover roads, then, according to your thesis of a slow sea level rise over 20,000 years because the Ice Age is supposedly still ending, the sea level rose about five feet to cover the roads, and so, 5 feet every 100 years plays-out to 1,000 feet of sea level rise in 20,000 years, and at that rate, all of the Roman buidings which were built near the shore should now be at least 20 feet underwater.

Your "primer" obviously needs much priming.

Ok Bucky boy, let's see your, I'm sure profound, definition of "religious fanatic" (this ought to be good).

Thanks for your extremely humble opinion.

Knickerbocker style pants will only be IN next summer if you, and only you, start the trend, because you d' man, not.

The end of this physcal world, as we know it, will be in about a thousand years, but then, a new heavens and earth will be created.

Stay with your day job, the comedy gig is not working out for you.

As the continents thickened from sedimentary build-up, and the ocean basins of new basalt cooled and sank upon the then vacated zones below the oceanic crust, the sinking oceanic crust caused the contental crust to uplift, and so the Deluge water slid off the continents (sheet erosion) into the then deepened ocean basins, leaving behind the water of the basin lakes of the "Pleistocene."

The earth's magnetic field strength has decreased 7% during the last 150 years, and there is no good reason to think that it has varied much from that, except at the Deluge, when the strength more rapidly declined with the magnetic reversals.

#3194 Underwater Temples Of Gebel Gol-bahar

Posted by Genesis Veracity on 15 October 2005 - 17:27 in Alternative theories

Magnetic reversals in ocean-floor basalts indicate their rapid extrusion (lava is 70% water) through the midoceanic ridges, and those same reversals are reflected in sedimentary layers which were deposited obviously during that rapid midoceanic ridge extrusion, couple this with the info in my previous post, and there you have a model fitting the evidence, not a model which has no explanatory content (uniformitarian geology).
