This tall menhir, 4.7m (15.4ft) high and ovoid in shape, stands in a quiet, cultivated field. At its foot a broken axe, flints, some sherds and horse bones were found. It is doubtful whether these Late Neolithic/Bronze Age objects were contemporary with the stone.
