The second annual 'Megalithomania conference' is taking place at the Assembly Rooms, Glastonbury (England) on 19th and 20th May. John Michell, is the maim inspiration for Megalithomania - named after his 1982 book - and he is expected to return to the podium in 2007. Speakers include Robert Temple, Keith Critchlow, John Michell, Ronald Hutton, Cheryl Straffon, Anthony Murphy & many others. There are also field trips to Stonehenge on the Friday & around the sites of Glastonbury on the Monday. 'Megalithomaniacs' will be happy to know that the event comprises 'The Megaliths', an exclusive short film premiere by Emma Stoner, and the 'Megalithic Market', where numerous book stalls, info points, art, and the speakers stall where the authors will be signing books will be found.
