Ancient bronze drum found in Vietnam

An ancient bronze drum believed to date back to the Dong Son culture, which existed 2,000-2,500 years ago, has been discovered in the central province of Quang Tri, in Vietnam. The drum, 1m in diameter and 1.5m in height, was unearthed by some local people while looking for scrap iron along the Viet Nam-Laos borderline. However, the locals then sold the drum to a scrap store. Concerned provincial agencies are now looking for the antique.
