Friends of Grampian Stones meeting

The Friends of Grampian Stones annual general meeting will be held at 2:30 on the 2nd of October, at the newly-restored Migvie Kirk at Tarland (Pictish stones, close to Tomnaverie stone circle). Non-members are welcome to attend, as they are actively seeking new members. Also present will be the Banffshire Field Club & Cromar History Group.
Friends of Grampian Stones was founded in 1989 to conserve and protect the antiquites of Northeast Scotland and to raise awareness to their condition. FOGS acts as liaison for all interested parties, including visitors, benefactors, landowners, educational & government bodies. They are a registered charity and all commmittee activities are 100% voluntary and unpaid. Further details can be had by contacting http://www.friendsofgrampianstones.org
